Jr. Data Analyst- Remote

Summary
Jr. Data Analyst develops, designs, implements business solutions including reports, scorecards, dashboards, and analyses. This position interprets results using a variety of techniques, ranging from simple data aggregations via statistical analysis to complex data mining. This position works directly with the Leadership Team to implement business solutions.
Key Responsibilities
Be well versed in using SQL in order to extract and transform data
Interpret data and analyze results finding trends using statistical techniques and present findings effectively
Develop and maintain models for loss forecasting, target yields, and other key operational factors
Maintain current suite of reporting with the ability to enhance and streamline processes
Develop and implement databases, data collection systems, data analytics and other strategies that optimize statistical efficiency and quality
Work with management to prioritize business and information needs
Locate and define new process improvement opportunities throughout all groups
Key Skills
2+ years proven work experience as a data analyst, business analyst, or systems analyst
Technical knowledge of data models, database design, data mining and segmentation techniques
Knowledge of and experience with reporting platforms (e.g., Looker, SSRS, Power BI, Quicksight) and PostgreSQL and MS SQL Server databases
Knowledge of statistics and experience analyzing datasets (e.g., Excel, R, SPSS, SAS, etc.) preferred
Strong analytical skills with the ability to collect, organize, analyze, and disseminate significant amounts of information with attention to detail and accuracy
BS in Information Technology or related field or equivalent experience
